A powerful blend of experience and emerging talent — Singapore’s U19 Girls Team is set to take on the region’s best at the upcoming SEA Youth Table Tennis Championships 2026.
The championships will be held from 14 to 19 April at the ActiveSG Pasir Ris Sports Hall, where this formidable squad, combining established national players with rising stars, will look to make a strong statement on home ground.
Experience at the Highest Level
Leading the team are some of Singapore’s most accomplished youth players. Loy Ming Ying, a two-time SEA Youth U15 Girls’ Singles champion and double medallist at the 2025 SEA Games, brings a wealth of experience and proven winning pedigree. Alongside her is Chloe Lai, a multiple-time SEA Youth medallist who has consistently delivered strong performances on the regional stage.
Their exposure to high-level international competition and ability to perform under pressure will be key assets as they guide the team through intense matches.
Rising Stars on the Ascend
Supporting the experienced duo is an exciting group of up-and-coming players, including Chong Zi Sian, Eudora Lee, and Janelle Chiang. No strangers to success at the SEA Youth level, these players have also been making steady progress on the WTT Youth circuit.
Their hunger, energy, and fearless approach add a dynamic edge to the team, complementing the leadership of their senior teammates.
Strong Contenders Across Events
With a strong mix of leadership and youth, the Singapore U19 Girls Team enters the championships as a serious contender in both the singles and team events. Their balance of tactical discipline, competitive experience, and emerging talent positions them well to challenge the best in Southeast Asia.
