We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the following position:

Finance Executive

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Process payments and billings, and maintain accurate accounting records in the General Ledger
  2. Assist with the monthly closing of accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  3. Prepare monthly audit schedules and supporting analyses
  4. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items
  5. Prepare monthly GIRO payment control files and support timely and accurate GIRO collections
  6. Review and verify cash advance settlements in accordance with internal guidelines
  7. Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register in accordance with organisational policies
  8. Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns (e.g. Donations reporting, Department of Statistics, and other relevant submissions)
  9. Assist with year-end financial closing and external audit processes
  10. Ensure accruals and balance sheet items are properly monitored, documented, and reflected in audit schedules
  11. Uphold sound corporate governance practices and internal controls in the execution of daily finance operations
  12. Assist with the review and implementation of organisational policies, including Finance and IT policies
  13. Support the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of the Annual Report
  14. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
  15. Participate in the testing, implementation, and enhancement of systems and applications

Other Duties

  1. Undertake additional duties as assigned, in support of organisational objectives

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma, GCE ‘A’ Level, or Degree in a relevant discipline
  2. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; prior relevant experience will be an advantage
  3. 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience is preferred but not mandatory
  4. Familiarity with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  6. Demonstrates a positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude
  7. Ability to work effectively in a structured yet dynamic environment
  8. Good verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  9. Proficiency in English and Mandarin (required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders)

Table Tennis Coach

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. To provide professional table tennis coaching services primarily for students of pre-secondary school (age 5 to 12 years old) at the training centres and/or other youth development and Learn-to-play programmes.
  2. To develop player performance pathways to grow into more competitive table tennis opportunities.
  3. To work closely with the Head Coach and the management in ensuring that coaching programs are designed to complement the Association’s mission, and are implemented in accordance with the Association’s operating policies and growth plans.

Job Requirements

  1. Passion and sufficiently proficient for Table Tennis and for coaching.
  2. Experience in coaching Table Tennis sport, especially to children, will be an advantage.
  3. Ability and willingness to mentor and motivate students with a wide range of skills, ages and physical abilities.
  4. Ability to design, plan and deliver effective coaching sessions.
  5. 51/2 days’ work weekly.
  6. Be able to travel to different work locations
  7. Proficient in English & Mandarin, written & verbal (Need to communicate with Mandarin speaking associates).
  8. Table Tennis NCAP or relevant coaching certification.  Registration with NROC will be an advantage.
