SpexCarding

The Singapore Sports Institute’s  (SSI) has announced a revised framework for SpexCarding from FY19 onwards. The SpexCarding system is a high performance sports support by Sports SG.  For more details, please refer to HERE  

Successful applicants would be identified and gain access to financial and sports science support from SSI.

Based on the new SSI’s SpexCarding framework, the STTA has generated a list of criteria to align with SSI’s SpexCarding levels. 

Athletes would have to meet the following list of criteria before consideration:

SpexCarding Enhanced Carding Level Criteria for STTA to nominate for Spex Carding For STTA to consider for SpexScholarship nomination (results within the 24 months period)

*The above criteria was approved at the Management Committee meeting on 25 October 2018. 

Other factors such as training attendance, disciplinary issues and other competitions not listed above may also be considered.

Athletes should understand that the outcome of the nominations will be at SportsSG’s sole discretion.
