There will be TEN categories catering to participants of all ages, including:
- Boys’/Girls’ Singles 9 & under
- Boys’/Girls’ Singles 12 & under
- Boys’/Girls’ Singles 15 & under
- Boys’/Girls’ Singles 19 & under
- Men’s/Women’s Singles
ELIGIBILITY OF PLAYERS
- Only players who have active STTA Individual Memberships (Athlete) are allowed to participate in this tournament. Non-active Member who registered will not be included for the open draw and there will be no refund of registration fees. Participants with outstanding dues to STTA must also be cleared by 29 July 2026 (Wednesday). Otherwise, he/she will also not be included for the open draw. There will be no refund of registration fee.
- A player is ONLY permitted to participate in the age group category that he/she is eligible for.
- For example, an age 12 girl can only participate in Girls’ 12 & Under age group category.
- Current full-time national players are not eligible to participate in any events.
- Former full-time national players who have represented Singapore in SEA Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Olympic Games, SEA Championships, Asian Championships, Commonwealth Championships and World Championships from year 2020 – 2025 are not eligible to participate in any events.
- The 9 & Under event are open to players who are born in or after 2017.
- The 12 & Under event are open to players who are born in or between 2014 and 2016.
- The 15 & Under event are open to players who are born in or between 2011 and 2013.
- The 19 & Under event are open to players who are born in or between 2007 and 2010.
- The Men’s and Women’s Singles event are open to players who are born in or before 2006.
Each player is allowed one accompanying coach to provide side coaching during his or her match(es). The coach must hold a valid STTA Individual Membership (Coach) and be properly attired (slippers and sandals are not permitted). Proof of a valid STTA Individual Membership (Coach) must be produced upon request by tournament officials. Please note that the processing time for an STTA Individual Membership (Coach) application may take up to 3–4 weeks. Applications for STTA Individual Membership (Coach) submitted during the tournament period or on the day of competition will not be entertained.
