Timeline for Athletes’ Commission Election

• STTA invites eligible athletes to stand for election via STTA social media platforms and STTA website on 10 August 2026
• Nominations of candidates to be received no later than 5pm, 17 August 2026.
• STTA will send information about the candidates for election to all athletes who are eligible to vote by 21 August 2026.

If there is an election: 

• Voting will take place at STTA on 31 August 2026,7pm.  Kindly note that each eligible athlete will have one vote and the vote must be exercised in person and by secret vote.
• Announcement of the elected Chairman and members: 31 August 2026

If there is no contest:

• Announcement of the elected Chairman and members: 31 August 2026
