With just 30 days to go, excitement is building as Singapore prepares to welcome the region’s brightest young talents for the SEA Youth Table Tennis Championships 2026. Hosted by the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA), the prestigious regional competition will take place from 14 to 19 April at the Pasir Ris Sports Hall, bringing together the next generation of table tennis stars from across Southeast Asia.
A Stage for the Region’s Future Champions
The SEA Youth Table Tennis Championships has long been recognised as a launchpad for young athletes who go on to represent their countries at major international competitions. Over the years, many players who first made their mark at the youth championships have progressed to compete at the Asian Championships, World Championships, and the Olympic Games.
This year’s edition in Singapore will see top youth players from across Southeast Asia compete in 13 events,
- U15 and U19 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles
- U15 and U19 Boys’ and Girls’ Doubles
- U19 Mixed Doubles
- U15 and U19 Boys’ and Girls’ Team Events
Rallying Behind Team Singapore
For Team Singapore, the championships represent an opportunity to compete on home ground and showcase the strength of the nation’s youth development pipeline.
At the previous edition held in Indonesia, Singapore delivered a strong performance, finishing with 12 medals — 3 Gold, 4 Silver, and 5 Bronze. With the support of the home crowd, the young paddlers will be aiming to build on that success and deliver another impressive showing.
